Toys For Tots 2009.
Thank you to the US Marines, The Birmingham Auto Dealers Association, Applebees, ABC33/40, and Cox Radio for joining forces with Moore & Moore Advertising. It's was a successful Toy Drive. Over 20,000 toys were collected. And because of Alabama's generosity over 10,000 children enjoyed toys on Christmas morning. This year we added two new events to the mix. Comedy Night at the Stardome featuring comedian Mickey Dean. We got our laughs and everyone who donated a toy got in free. Also, family dinner night at Applebees was a huge success. A portion of the evenings proceeds was donated to Toys For Tots. James Spann and his weather team joined us at Walmart to spend over $30,000 to buy toys. It was a fun shopping night. Thank you to everyone who came to celebrate at the Iron Horse Cafe in Hoover.
